Ugly Harvest believes that all fruits and vegetables, no matter their appearance, have a place in the kitchen.

Crooked carrots, curvy cucumbers, deformed peaches. 1 in 5 fruits and veggies in Canada do not meet cosmetic standards and never make it to the shelf. This equals to about six billion pounds of produce thrown away each year.

THE RESCUE MISSION

We save produce discarded at the distribution stage and give them a second chance. We turn them into a convenient, wholesome food products that can be served at any time of the day, that is not only satisfying, but is also an on-trend initiative for limiting food waste.
